AND THE WINNER IS…….

Well today is the day! I have just returned from Madeleine’s Cherry Pie & Ice Cream Shoppe where Kyla Eaglesham, the lovely proprietor extraordinaire selected the winning Mother for our BEST MOM contest. As you may know by now, we received 36 incredible entries about some truly amazing Mothers. I hope each and every one of you is out celebrating them today. So… without further adieu… drum roll please…

In the midst of preparing for their AMAZING Mother’s Day High Tea Brunch, Kyla took a moment to help pick the winning Mom.

Here’s what Jeremy said about his mom, Susan:

My mom is not an object that does work and chores, she means a lot more than that. She is a caring, hard-working person who deserves more thanks than she gets. She does so much hard work around the house. Presently, she is away at a hockey tournament, the result…CHAOS! We probably wouldn’t survive if she were to leave for more than a week. I think that my mom really deserves the prize because she cares about every little thing. From my education to if I brushed my teeth last night.

My mom hardly ever does anything for herself or gets anything extra. She always cooks dinner but by the time she is done organizing playdates or soccer practice we have finished our dinner and hers is cold. I think it would be an amazing surprise for her to come home from work and find 1200 dollars worth of prizes in the front hall. It would be the best mother’s day present ever.
