Here are some of my favorites from the Compassionate Eye Foundation shoot that took place in Toronto on June 17th. We are still working on the selects that will go into the Getty Images stock bank, but these photos are going to generate royalties to support CEF’s work around the world building schools and providing scholarships for young women. VERY KOOL!!!

Sting wrote about them, and well to this point, I had never really thought about the words to the song or what the heck barley looked like in June. One the way to my folks cottage this weekend I was delighted to drive past these beautiful ‘Fields of Gold’ near Owen Sound and wanted to share them with you.
Happy Canada Day!!!
As we move into summer (YES!!!!) we are having a very fun spring with loads of outdoor family portraits coming up in the next few weeks. Tomorrow is our big stock photography shoot for the Compassionate Eye Foundation and I’ll be posting info and photos about it later this week. We’ve got a killer team put together for this stock photography shoot for charity and I’m going to profile everyone along with images from the shoot so stay tuned for that.
You can read more about the foundation at www.compassionateeye.org – we are so excited to be represented Toronto in this worldwide community of photographers working with CEF!!!
Recently I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with two fabulous couples, and I thought since I tend to show more portraits of children, its about high time I show some love for the ‘love birds’. Geoff & Cindy are getting married next year, and we had a blast shooting an engagement session at the Distillery District a few weeks ago.
And Tim & Anna got married just around the corner from the Distillery at the Enoch Turner School House.
Congratulations! It was a honor to be apart of your special day!
Finally, just wanted to post some photos from the Bunch Family part at Yonge & Dundas Square as a part of Toronto’s luminato festival. There was break dancing lessons, double dutch, four square and chalk drawing areas, as well as some seriously fresh vibes from the DJ booth. If you haven’t checked out a Bunch party yet perhaps the next get together on July 1st at Harbourfront Centre is the perfect chance to get Bunchified? Check out the Bunch Family website for more details at www.bunchfamily.ca
